Question:

Why is it something that holds so much good for America can't find the light of day?

I hope everyone out there knows what is really going on in DC. Our elected officials are far more concrened with getting elected than doing right for America or her people.

We sit here with $4 gas and skyrocketing prices because of the high cost of fuel. Our best jobs have been sent overseas and we loaned them the money to build the factories which never gets paid back.

Even though "PATENTED" fuel-less pollution free electric power has been all over our government. Enough pollution free electric power to end our need for Arab oil. Enough high wage jobs to ened all this lost job agony America and her people have suffered.

But DC does nothing but promote more Nuclear power even knowing that it carries a 25,000 year storage problem and expense.

Does this seem right to you? Why do we keep voting in more Dems and Reps? Don't you know "THEY" are the problem?

  1. I'm with you! Tapping a single power-source such as the Atlantic Current could provide enough pollution-free power to drive the Eastern states and then some!

Heat makes cold, too. In fact, it's the oldest form of modern refrigeration -- Solar Ammonia Absorption. So, why are we burning fuel to bring fuel here, then burning that fuel to drive power plants that send power to refrigeration compressors that release all the heat they remove... as well as the heat from their friction? Idiocy!

Imagine (don't have to imagine, it's real) hybrid solar panels (collect both the heat AND the photovoltaic potential of the sun) forming canopies over the most heavily trafficked roads. Less air-conditioning means less gasoline or other fuel burned WHILE AT THE SAME TIME providing tax revenues from renting the space above the roads ANDDDD enriching those who rent and profit from the solar arrays.

Wind is already cheaper than coal. In fact, Concentrated Solar Power (solar heated steam power plants) are cheaper to build and amortize than coal.

That doesn't even address the type of power you may be referring to such as the ever mysterious Lutec, Bedini, Perendev and other motor designs.

I don't know. We need to do something, though, and FAST!

  2. True, but unfortunately everyone is looking out for their piece of the pie.  Others on the other hand are busy sacrificing and laying the ground work for a different choice for the people.  That is what makes a great country and many are now seeing the light, but it took a while before someone turned on the light.

Four years ago I wrote and called my great senators and explained that with al the rigs layed up and oil field people out of work they could drill oil for the US and not just get the royalty check, but 100% of the revenues.  i also explianed that if gas went any higher it would be a back breaker for the minumum wage folks and that a 5-10 cent a gallon tax should be added now (or back then).  That tax would have slowed usage and paid for all our debt.  I also explained that the oil companies, traders and OPEC would get it if they didn't.  Not only that but the oil brougt in from the different areas would have stopped any import of mid eastern oil and also filled the statigic reserves with the rest to go on the open market.  Even at 3 milion BOPD that's $300,000,000 a day direct to the government and imagine how many roads to no where they could build.  I now think that is the way to do it and show them how the country can drill their own oil wells and then use that money for more pork.  Hopefuly someone would not let it all go to pork.

NO answer.  i now write othe states senators as the two from my state are not at all concerned and fortunately one is retiring to become a lobbyist.  Great question.  Freedom always comes with a cost.

  3. Safe nuke power is our only hope at this stage-look at France.Just keep the oil companies out of this loop or they'll muck it up,but windfall tax them to pay for some of it.Keep enough soldiers on the ground there to guard the refineries to get our money back. are we paying over a hundred bucks a barrel for our oil here?If so ,why? When you vote don't just vote a straight ticket-kick some ***,let 'em know who they're working for.
