Why is it sometimes colder inside the house than outside?

  1. If you are not using heating or air conditioning, the house will take longer to heat up and cool down than outside, that's why you might be cold in day when it's warm outside, or hot at night when it's already cooled down outside.


  2. same thing in my house - just think of the trees and shade - now think of how much shade your indoors provide...that pretty much sums it up I think..that's a lot of shade ~_~ how do I know? because it can be sunny outside and feel like an ice box - mind you no fans running or air conditioning.!!!!!

  4. well if you do not have the heat on, the house will cool down and then when you wake up you will be cold, and it may be warmer outside (depending on where you live) as the day goes on, the house gradually heats up, but it takes a while.

    Thats my reason :)
