Why is it such an rainy, stormy season in NY state?

It's been very busy this summer.

It's the overall pattern, yes it has been a very active summer over New England. The pattern was extra rainy this past week. Very unusual summer weather I can tell you that from a forecaster's point of view.

I expect this pattern to persist through August.

I live in new york though and yes its been really rainy.

atleast we dont have to worry about a drought right!

Im pretty sure its from the backlash of the tropical storms.
