  1. India, it will be corruption, but I'm 'glad' to say the UK in that sense is becoming more multicultural.

  2. Having travelled around India for 2 years don't expect things to go fast. It really is a slower pace of life. You might find that some days the court might not even be open dependent on which town he is in. They might then need to find a translator and so on. Have you thought about trying to contact The British High Commission of India? They might be able to give you some more detailed answers. Good Luck :-)

  3. It is a slow system in India, sucks...

  4. The Indian Legal System is same as British. It has not changed even after independance. You must take into account population of 100 million.People go to court for silly matters. There is not enough courts or judges.Cases filed before even 10 years are pending in many courts. In certain cases there is no chance of talking up the case in life time.Justice delayed is justice denied. The Indian law system requires urget revising or remodelling. The criminal and civil laws are out dated. The laws copied by from British laws continue in India ,though they have been scrapped in UK!You know, the Negotiable Instruments Act being followed in India was passed in 1881 by the British!
