Why is it taking forever to get my ebay item?

well i bought a micro sd from ebay and sent the payment 1 or 2 weeks ago

i havent gotten a notification that theyve received the payment

PLEASE HELP!!!

im planning on sending a complaint after this week ends

Since it's not mentioned, first check that you were charged on your Pay-Pal account or that the check or money order cleared.  If it has, then email the seller and state that you sent you payment on *date* and that the payment cleared on *date* and you have not received notification from them that payment was received or the item.  If they do not respond within 1-2 business days, file a complaint with eBay.  Keep record of the correspondence with the seller and forward this as needed to eBay as well.  

Typically it's probably one of those cases where your order accidentally slipped through the cracks and if you email the seller it will right itself immediately.

Well, it might not in the US. Maybe that seller is in China, it might take up to 20 days for the item to be delivered. Did you try to email the seller? If yes and they didn't reply, I think they don't know any English coz they're chinese. Try to look at the location of that item to see where it comes from. I think you should open the dispute now, coz it kind of took too long. If you can wait, it's up to you. Just wanna to remind you that, if that item was paid within 31 days, they won't let you open the dispute anymore.

I would contact the seller and see if he replies.  After a few attempts, I would file a complaint.

Ebay is not like a standard store. You are buying the micro sd card from another person. This person may turn out to be flaky. Luckily ebay includes buyer protection. Just send a complaint to ebay and they should refund you. If you payed with a credit card, simply deny the charge on the credit card, saying that you did not receive the goods or services you payed for.
