Why is it taking so long for messages to go to inboxes? but goes straight to web site in a second?

rThe slowest mail is AOL. That said the 2nd slowest is Yahoo! If you are using   "i e" use "fire fox" instead, it is 5 times faster. If you are using fire fox it maybe slowed by too many "cookies" & also you may have some spyware along for the ride. Get cleaners and wipe out the cookies. Works for me.Only draw back is you have to type your user name & passwords back in. I also use Google,Windows,Aol & yahoo emails all for different things. Good Luck.

sorry Dave, I have AOL and as soon as I send a post it's right back at me in my in box. free AOL, maybe slow.

it's a server delay, and in order to locate which ends server is the delay, you look at the mail headers. some times it's your own ISP sometimes it's yahoo. the mail header will tell you which.

if you don't know how to read a mail header, once it shows up in your in box, copy your complete mail header and send it to yahoo
