Why is it taking so long to receive my income tax check it was mailed out June 13th and its still not here ?

Its only been a week.  The 13th was a Friday, so it might not have been picked up and processed till Monday the 16th.  If you dont have it by next Wednesday,I would call and report it to the IRS.

Be patient. If it doesn't come by July 12th, call the IRS at 1-800-829-0582, extension 726 and they can run a trace. Don't bother calling before then as they won't do anything.

same here..my i received the letter saying "scheduled to be mailed june13th" but nothing today. i even called the irs and they said that they mailed to the correct address! i don't owe anything so i am wondering where the h**l is it!

If you don't receive the stimulus check by 06302008 then contact IRS.  once IRS mailed out the check it is up to the Post Office to deliver the check.

Does the "where's my stimulus" website give you that date when you enter your ss# and other info, or are you just looking at the overall schedule?  Did you get a letter giving you that date?

If you got the letter with that date, it sounds like your mail is just slow and you should have it real soon.
