Why is it that Black community leaders and pseudo politicians can say things about white people?

Such as Al Shaprton and Jesse Jackson, but if White people were to make the same comment it would be considered racist? Additionally why are most Minorities Dems when the civil rights acts and the voting acts of the 60's were passed by Repubs and opposed by the Dems.Not to mention that several high ranking Dems are former KKK leaders.Robert Byrd Sen leader from WVA just for starters

Because Liberals can do and say whatever they want, since they have good intentions, regardless of what they say or do.

Al and Jesse do NOT speak for blacks. I f u want to know how I--as a black man -- eel about an issue, then u have to ask me. I speak for myself. Jesse and Al are clowns to me. In an actual racist situation --like the recent Jenna, Louisiana school episode where racial politics and law enforcement was obvious then yes we must address it. However as I've said before, "crying wolf" only diminishes your claim when it is legitimate. Blacks and Whites should be held to the same standard when it comes to libel and/ or slander. I have made the argument with my fam and friends about things such as Black Entertainment Television being wrong...For two reasons mostly. 1. If there was a WET channel I would be offended as h**l.2. What makes anyone think that all Black people are entertained by the same type of show? Talk about putting me in a box--So as far as your first question is concerned --I agree. Historically both parties have taken advantage of and mistreated blacks and the black vote as well as poor people and the underprivileged. However because I'm 32 years old and living in the now, I can only go by how some Republicans treat the black vote and black people. Robert Byrd lives and was elected by a 91% white vote. Ask that question to the people who voted for him. Overall, I am open-minded and I can appreciate your question because I would probably ask the same things if I were not a black man. However, make no mistake about things--We do not all think or act alike. We are not all entertained by gangster rap and we do not need a black spokesman--just an American one who makes decisions that benefit us all.

You should black up your question / point with some examples.  Also, are you talking their saying things about White individuals or about White people as a whole race?  I've never of Sharpton saying anything anti-White.  Jackson made one anti-semitic remark years ago for which he subsequently apologized.  

While Republicans fought for us in the 1860's and 1870's, and while there have been racist Dems like Woodrow Wilson, Dems have fought for us Blacks since the 1940's (FDR banned discrimination by defense contractors, Truman integrated the armed forced, LBJ pushed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Dems fought for the MLK Holiday, etc.).  While Byrd was a Klansman many decades ago, Blacks have been seen A LOT of racist stuff from the GOP since the implementation of their "Southern Strategy" (States Rights used to promote segregation in the 60's, Reagan's using "Chicago Welfare Queen" appeals to stoke racist sentiments, the Willie Horton ad during the 1988 Presidential race, the Jessie Helms "hands" ad, George Allen's "Macaca" comment, the anti-Harold Ford, Jr. ad in which a blonde white female winked and said "Harold, call me" in the *Tennessee* senate race, etc.).  While you may not like Blacks' supporting the Dems, like me as you this:  Given all of this racism from the GOP during the last 40 years, would *you* vote Republican if you were Black?

Whites are the majority  so they can be picked on.  Dems are known as socialists which the poor like.  Many times extremists get confused about what to protest and get it wrong.

Not so grasshopper! Hillary made a backhanded racist comment towards Obama the day after she had to cry to get the NH primary. So far not even Sharpton has called her on it and the liberal media have decided, like the rest of her record, it doesn't matter.

because they know that they will be supported if called to task for the things they say due to the liberal judges and liberal politicians fearing them.  liberals are not driven by morales...they're driven by their inherent drive to win the world over by simply acting like they're nice and going out of their way to not OFFEND minorities...
