It seems that Europe and 90% of its descendents around the world are very educated and contribute to society, while those in Africa and 90% of its descendents around the world live in poverty and crime. Why is this?

  1. Because there are some strong financial group who prveent Africa from developing. Africa is a threath for America similar to China.

    .

For this reason, a hox named "Global warming" was developed. The Earth is getting warmer because of sun activity and has little to do with the emissions. Those 1000 "climatologists" who signed this pamphlet have no idea about the topic. This concept also helps prevent other countries from developing.

    .

I read somewhere an article named "Global warming - how Africa died" try to google.

  2. It is the weather and the size of the individual countries.  Imagine - the sun comes up at 9:00 am and sets at 3:00 pm, and the temperature is minus 7degrees Centigrade.  What else can you do, but study, learn and experiment.  I've lived there, and sometimes we did not see the sun for 10 days. Rain, rain and more of the same.  One year, my father said that they had one day summer - 19th May. (his birthday) Africa one the other hand, had sunlight, fruit trees and meat running on the hoof. Just lying under a tree you would have been fed. The fruit fell on your head.      Peace.

  3. It's history: colonization and slavery maintains industrialization from the first world (Europe). That's the way I see it...

  4. Jared Diamond's book "Guns, Germs, and Steel" does a pretty good job answering this question.

I also think you could just look at recent history. Look at the descendents of societies which oppress others vs. the descendents of oppressed societies. Across the board, you find that when your culture has been demolished, your nation invaded, your people enslaved and legally discriminated against, your descendents will suffer a number of social problems as a result. It isn't limited to descendents of Africans. It also occurs to aborigines, Native Americans, and minority grups in many other countries throughout the world.

Humans are not atomistic individuals. We exist in a cultural context which gives meaning to our lives. When that cultural fabric is destroyed, as it is by slavery, colonialism, racism, and exploitation, the members of that culture suffer severely. It is easy for Europeans and Americans to not realize this because they have never had their cultures destroyed like that.

  5. i dont have an answer, but i have a ques for student of life - if that is the case, is that a generalization? bc when it comes to the jews - i believe they have been the most opressed undeniably the most fought and shut out of society, THROUGHOUT history, meanwhile they come up with the most educated, proactive, and famous in history and the world nowadays? how do you figure that out?

  6. 1. The African nations have contributed a great deal to the world's history and culture.  The American writer W.E. Dubois has written extensively on this.

    2. Some of the current African nations have a better 'gine coefficient' grade (assessment of the level of social inequality within a country ) than the USA.

    3. I agree with your other answerers who argue that  European pillaging (16th - 20th century), especially their trade in slavery, and their colonisation, did immeasurable damage to the continent.

    4. The richer more powerful countries today continue to use various strategies, (diplomatic, economic, military) to vie with each other over who will benefit from the wealth of the  currently less powerful and impoverished countries in Africa.

    5. To argue that 90% of Europeans and their descendant's have 'contributed to society' is open to debate, both historically and now,  especially if we include African societies in that generalisation.

  7. Before we came to this country we were kings and queens

    never porch monkeys

there were empires in Africa, Calcush, Timbuktu

where ever race came to get books to learn from black teachers

    who taught greeks and romans

asian, arabs and gave them gold

    when

gold was converted to money it all changed

money then became empowerment for europeans

    the persian military invaded

    they heard about the gold

    the teachings and everything sacred

    Africa was almost robbed naked

    slavery was money

so they began making slave ships

Egypt was the place where alexander the great went

he was in shock at the mountains with black faces

shot off their nose to impose what basically still goes on today you see

  8. It's because the majority of the world spends their money on stupid wars, petroleum, and ways to make more money, instead of helping Africa.

With all the money spent on the Iraq war, Africa could have become another Europe or America.

  9. because Africa itself is socially repressed.

  10. many of these ppl wer not given a chance for a good education they have a lot of social and economical problems and the richer countries such as the usa and europe are not paying fair prices for their imports from africa. history and colonisation have also attributed to these problems.

  11. It was the interference by the white race in Africa that has produced the mess in that country today, left to themselves they were ok and then money and power which was the legacy of the whites took over, we as a white race may be educated but we are a pirate race that will kill, pillage and rape what we desire to have,we are now reaping the rewards of our meddling and have become the minority particularly in this wretched country of Britain!

  12. Europe is better off because Africa is not its the evil balance that Europe has kept and is still trying to keep to this day
