  1. coz english is a universal language.

  2. academic scholars could argue that we should only have one language to use as a medium of inctruction mainly because of what they call 'global competitiveness'. realistically, english is really the universal language (though some may argue that it is not) so we should train our students here so that they could be globally competitive. but this is a propaganda for the youth because it is just the same as saying that we should train our students to speak english because one way or the other they would still go to abroad to work, and if they speak a reall good english they could make our country proud,

on the other hand, nationalism is the issue when some people would argue why we should use Fiipino as a medium of instruction. they would give other countries as example. like japan or china, or even russia. they are really huge and successful countries but they use their national language in communicating. in that manner, misunderstanding could be lessen and studying or working could be less hassle and more enjoyable. these countries, despite their usage of their native tongues had been able and is abling to put their countries on top, their economies rising and their people happy.

  3. Filipino's have a great advantage over the rest of Asia because you get taught in English.  Therefore you grow up bilingual.  English is the international language of business.  Pretty much all of Asia, South & Central America and Europe are trying to learn English.  You also have it easier immigrating to English speaking countries because you know the language too.

  4. English should be used as a  medium of instruction because you can find better jobs when you're fluent in that language.

  5. English, because we are enslaved by the USA.

Filipino (Tagalog), because Manuel L. Quezon is a tyrant.

  6. because of the school's curriculum.

  7. It depends on the language in the part of the country you're working in. Some areas it's Spanish, some Arabic, Ukrainian, Afrikaans- what is required for the population. It's not always Filipino, just where you are.
