Why is it that Hawaii's island decrease in size?

because of the global climate change the level of oceans is increasing so many islands or coasts are decreasing... it's the same thing for venise people are afraid that in some years the city will be deasapeared

They don't decrease in size, in fact they are getting larger.

As the northern ice packs melt, the ocean level rises, and the surface area of most land masses will decrease.
