Why is it that women feel these inate need to act stuck up around guys? I was having this discussion with a friend of mine on the phone last night.

The stuck-up attitude is mostly subtle -- like how women refuse to look at you, or how they quickly turn their head -- like they're too good for you to even be in their line of sight.

Yesterday I was walking through Whole Foods, and this chick walking in my direction just keeps her head looking the other way to pretend she never saw me. I know it's just unnatural and I know she saw me. But why are a lot of women like this. I guess she thinks all guys are planning to hit on her? I don't know. But I notice many women are like this.

Now, I do admit I wasn't dressed my best. I was doing some work around the apartment and was just wearing a dirty t-shirt, and some dirty basketball shorts, and hadn't shaved. Perhaps she thought I was filth. Still, when I dress nice I notice some women are rude like this. Why.

  1. I'm guilty of appearing "stuck-up" around guys but have you ever thought that maybe we're just nervous and that's why we're avoiding eye contact or that maybe sometimes you guys stare too d**n hard and it makes us feel uncomfortable. Also sometimes I just know when a guy is gonna say something to me when I walk by and so maybe I won't look to try and get him not to say anything but usually they say something anyways.

  2. Dude, you have serious self-esteem issues you need to work on. I'm not trying to put you down, but it is true. Your view of reality is extremely skewed. I guarantee I could walk into Whole Foods dressed exactly like how you described and have four or five conversation and/or smile exchanges with various women during a half hour's time. Most women find a guy MORE attractive if he looks like he has been doing some sort of work.

Edit: Not that I approve of the behavior recommended by Mike T, but that was a pretty ******* funny post he just wrote.

  3. It probably gives them a sense of power. This stuff used to bother me back when I cared what women think.

If you want to feel better about this situation then turn the tables. Anytime a woman acts stuck-up around you, tell her she has nice b*****s or a nice butt. Say it like you mean it and don't apologize. If she says something mean or calls you a name, just say "I'm sorry for breaking up with you, but it was for the best" .. then walk away and say nothing more.
