Why is it that a woman spends years searching for "Mr Right," marries him, and then sets about changing him.?

well I'm the same person i was ten yrs ago.my now ex wife changed and all of a sudden tried to change me.well it didn't work and now we are divorced.so you cant blame anyone really people do change and it does break up relationships.its the chance you take.

He was probably right in the first place, but if she sees another woman's Mr. Right and sees that he is better in some aspects than her Mr. Right, she'll try to improve him accordingly. People have pet peeves, and if we have the power to control them, we will. Wives think their man will change simply because she asked him to.
