...in the air? What are those tiny floating things, and why do I see them? Odd question but please don't tease--I'd really like to know the answer to this.

  1. Is it possible that your eyes are readjusting to changing levels of light and persistence of vision is causing floating blotches as the light-sensitive cells in your eye recover (hence they float around).

Either that or something really odd is going on with the titanium oxide particles in your deodorant.

  2. Crabs .. in the armpit ?

  3. There are always floating particles in the air. It's called dust!

EDIT: You'll only be able to see the particles at certain times as we tend to focus past it when we are looking at specific things like friends, tele, the view etc. Try looking at a shaft of light and you should be able to see it then.
