  1. You can say that they are good but not that d**n good to play for their national side.

  2. Most of these players have played icl which means they cant play for their countries, Lance Klusener, Nicky Boje and Andrew all retired from international cricket a while ago and have taken kolpack contracts in england so they have made them selves unavailable for selection with that as well Justin Langer has retired Mushtaq Ahmed has retired the only player who can play for his country is Yasir Arafat all others have in some way or another ended their international career with icl retirement or kolpack

  3. all these players are ok with the exception of bond and klusener.

they need to be back to international cricket.

  4. MONEY.

The majority of the get more money for playing in the county sides than they would at international level.  Also with the South African players and Murray Goodwin it is also a policitical matter in some case.  Not that they arent good enought just quota systems which undermine talent (in their opinions)

  5. well someone like Bond is going to do well in whatever competition he plays, hes world class!

but take guys like David Hussey whos made alot of county runs (last season, he hasnt had the chance yet this year), hes probably good enough to play test cricket, but theres just no room for him in the team, theres only 6 players that can get into the top 6, and while they still do well theres no room for anyone else to get in

with some that youve mentioned (Law, Ahmed, Langer, Di Venuto and Goodwin), they are probably to old for Test cricket now. while with the South African players, well thats just a really tricky/weird situation where i dont think anyone really knows the goings on

  6. Did you know that Mushtaq Ahmed is now qualified to play for England?!

I agree with most of your list of players except for a couple:

Shane Bond- is good enough for NZ but had his central contract terminated when he played in the ICL.

Andrew Hall- retired from international cricket last year.

Abdul Razzaq- retired from international cricket last year (in protest at not being picked in the Twenty20 World Cup).

Nicky Boje- Retired from international cricket in 2006.

Justin Langer- Are you kidding?  He averaged 45 with the bat in Test matches...

  7. most of them has international experience
