  1. Dodge Viper

    Saleen S7

Chevrolet Corvette (Callaway, ZR1, Z06, etc.)

    Ford GT

    Cadillac Cien concept

    Saleen S351 Mustang

    Shelby Series 1

You see; for the most part, if America wants to kick some Italian/German A-ss, they'll just make a high performance variant of the Corvette, Mustang, or Viper (not like it needs much).  Do you expect Chevrolet to release a new $200,000 V12 exotic car out of the blue called the X1000 or something?  It's not gonna happen.

There are also some foreign exotic cars that use American V8 engines like the DeTomaso Pantera and the Bricklin SV-1.

  2. Are you kidding?  Have you seen a Saleen S7R?

  3. yeah they are just really expensive.

I see them around town every now and then and their are a few dealerships (or whatever you call them) that sell them in the town next to mine.

  4. ~Looks at the Corvette... then looks back at you~

    Well, I um.

    ~Looks back, and sees a Ford Cobra~

    ...Uh...

  5. corvet zr1.........the shelby gt 500......... thoses are exotic class car....

  6. Right off the top of my head the Saleen S7, the Mosler MT900, Ford GT, and even the Z06 and new ZR-1 Corvettes and the Viper SRT will give the Europeans a good run for their money. If the stock Vette or Viper aren't enough there are American companies like Callaway, Lingenfelter, Guldstrand and Hennesey that take them to an even more exotic level of performance.

  7. we are to fat

  8. Dodge Viper?

We don't build that many exotic sports cars because there's no need for them.

Also, not all Americans are fat.

  9. They do.

Chevy Corvette and Corvette Z06 and Corvette ZR1.

    Ford GT(Not Mustang GT)

    Dodge Viper and Viper SRT-10

    SSC Aero TT

    Saleen S7

    Cadillac XLR and XLR-V

    Chrysler ME-12

  10. i'd roll a dodge viper if given the opportunity.

  11. Go to Carol Shelby's website. It will change your mind. Another is the Ford GT40.

  12. You want exotic? Really built by Americans? Then check out the Factory Five GTM. www.factoryfive.com

  13. umm, Corvette, Ford GT, Viper???

  14. Depends a bit on your definition of "exotic". To some American's that means "not American". The other issue that that the American exotics tend to also be fairly high end luxury cars. Interiors of leather and rare hardwoods, that sort of thing. Many Japanese sports cars cost less and are more common because they merely take a more normal car and juice up the car's performance without making it so... exotic, I guess.

  15. we are cheap, and china has the technology lol.
