Why is it that aone peso coin sink quickly in water but a large ferry boat floats?

  2. one peso coin is solid while the ferry boat is hollow inside. that is when you carved away much of the coin's inner materials and leaving only one of its faces and the sorrounding edges there is a big chance that you will make it float on the water. likewise if you can make a ferry a solid object all through out no doubt not even the best salvager can make it float.
