Why is it that chinese ppl?

only have 1 child? wat if the women have twins? or triplets? wat's the diff between chinese ppl? japanese? asians? koreans?

xxIx alympics questions: does anyone know ppls who went to the olympics? did they go by airplane? how much was it to go see the olympics? did they leave before 08.08.08? did they take pics? did they loved the opening ceremony? will the olympics ever be held in chicago il? how much r the tickets for each of the things to go see on the olympics?

The rule in China is if you have only one child the government will pay for the education. If you have more, you're on your own. Most people can't afford it so they have only one. If a woman has twins, she has to make the tough choice to keep them both and possibly limit their opportunities or give one up for adoption.

It is called the one child policy implemented in China since the early 1970s for population control. Of course, if the woman have twins or triplets, they are allowed to have them, but once the woman have one child, they are not allow to have another, or there will be fines or forced abortion by punished by the law. Although this policy is not as strict as before nowadays, especially in the cities where one can have two children if both parents are the only child in the family. I believe China is the only country in the world has the one-child policy.

A couple of my friends went to Beijing to attend the Olympics, the plane ticket of course is expensive as ever. United opened up one airline this year just for the Olympics (direct flight from Washington DC to Beijing). The tickets are hard to obtain and they are expensive. Most of my friends left one month before the start of the Olympics, they said that Beijing is in a huge mess, and people are everywhere. The opening ceremony was amazing.

As for the 2016 Olympics, Chicago has a very high chance of hosting  (the other three are Madrid Spain, Brazil, and Tokyo, Japan.) it.

That was the law, one child per family, but its not so strict anymore.

Chicago 2016. Chicago is currently bidding for the 2016 games, and there's a strong chance they'll get it since the last summer games in the us was Atlanta 1996, 20 yrs ago from 2016.
