Why is it that donald duck is the only disney character who doesn't wear pants???

I think it is because it doesn't really fit his body shape, and especially does not work in combination with his normal outfit.

At the same time, one of the sole occasions he does wear pants is when he goes swimming, which is rather ironic. Also, I believe he's not the only one not to wear pants. Daffy Duck is pant-less on my occasions, as are many of the other Ducks.

I think your wrong.  The chipmunks, Chip and Dale, don't either.  I think thats what their names are anyway.  No, I'm not talking about Alvin and the chipmunks!

Try it sometime, draw a pair of pants on a duck. It looks really stupid.
