Why is it that drug crimes can not get government assistance, but sexual crimes can?

  1. Because this government has a habit of being incredibly backward.

    Seriously though, I don't know that there is an answer, but my hypothesis would be this: It could be possible that the government feels assisting drug criminals would give them the resources to continue their crimes [they think health benefits shouldn't be given to people who have polluted their body with chemicals; helping them go to school could give them a new population where they could sell their drugs or get drugs; I have no idea what excuse they would make for not giving out food stamps though] and maybe they feel like sexual deviants wouldn't aided in their crime by receiving these benefits.

    I personally think if you have been convicted of a serious crime you don't deserve government help...you have already taken advantage of this country, why should you be further rewarded?


  2. It make no sense that a s*x predator can get government assistance and some one that got busted for drugs can not. That law needs to be changed .
