Why is it that every convience store is owned by someone who has a chinese or korean backround?

here in the uk its mainly pakistanis that have the corner shops

Not all are. Some are owned by Pakistani's.

i don't know. In my neighborhood, they are mostly Indian and some Middle East ppl.

they more or less own dry cleaners...but it's just a generational thing
