Because the cheerleadrs start the rumors that it's S****y because they're to big they can't fit in them and look toned. (They have no butt mucles.)

i play v-ball and i wear spandex...they are easier to move and slide in...but they are really short...it kinda bothers me...lol

i know...it just sucks doesnt it. especially when all those sick guys come to watch my volleyball games just cuz we wear spandex...it really sucks.

Volleyball coaches prefer the spandex due to less net violations and they help diving while slidding on the floor... Who cares what people think, only your actions on the court should matter, off the court has nothing to due with what sport you play.

Sure, volleyball players wear spandex, but it's not like we wear them for "S****y" reasons.... they are very helpful in the movements that are necessary in the sport, and provide less of an interference.  I guess those cheerleaders just like to start rumors and drama.
