Everyone is talking about our flaws. Everyone knows what the flaws are. Some of the main ones...

-Iraq war mess

-universal healthcare/healthcare osts

-homeless

-gas prices

-possible invasion of Iran

-immigration

-economy falling

-missing imaginary WMD's

So why isn't SOMETHING being done about these things? Whose job is it?

  1. America is doing something about it.

In 2006, there was they began to clean the congress of Bush's rubberstamp Republicans.

Unfortunately, not enough seats were up for grabs, so the Rubbestampers still hold enough sway to keep real substantive changes from happening.

This year, Americans are going to take things to the next level.

Bush will be gone and Obama will be President.

Even more of Bush's Rubberstamp Republicans, like Old Man McCain, will be gone and America will move into the next phase.

Obama will restore honor and dignity to the White House.

America will become a well respected nation once again.

  2. because it is easlier to to point out mistakes than it is to come up with solutions.

  3. That's the thing. The U.s. has a lot of hypocrites in it.

They whine about it but they don't do anything.

Despite that, there are some groups out there that are trying to do something about these things.

  4. Blame the people that voted for Bush both times around. It's their fault. There's nothing we can do. What we are supposed to do is elect a new president in November to fix this mess, but personally I don't think either of them can handle it.

  5. what you want us to do about it.

  6. America's and perhaps other countries favorite pastime! and when have we have had a really good choice in presidential candidates?

  7. Because not everyone is a lawmaker, there isn't a whole lot the general public can do. What we do is vote for someone to represent our views. It is up to our elected officials to do something about it.

You CAN let your elected official hear your voice. They can be emailed (I have done so and got a reply back from one).

  8. Good question. The answer is that everyone wants to dump responsibility on others, therefore they themselves can go on doing nothing, without guilt.

  9. In a democracy, that's what elections are for.

  10. it's easier to whine than to do something about it
