  1. your probs buying the cheap ones or that you dont look after them properly (stretching/pulling/ knoting the wires)....

  2. thats because u r buying cheap ones buy branded products and take care of it

  3. Are you yanking on the wires, they are really fragile and only soldered to the ear buds..

  4. Buy good quality ones and look after them. Yanking them about is the way to break them.

  5. ya but someone told me its because im wrappin the around my ipod too much which is loosing the cables or something so i stoped it an i dont have to buy so many now

its not usaly the make cheap makes are sometimes the best i find

  6. Yes, same problem. You are probably too hard on the wires. Inside the earphone, a wire will fray if you are too rough, so it becomes hard to get a connection in that ear. Common problem. Just buy a higher quality pair, and be gentle!

  7. "Made in China".....that says it all.........

  8. it sounds like you are buying cheap headphones. That doesn't happen with good headphones. Even the ipod headphones are great bang for your buck. The foam pads almost always fall off but you really don't need them anyway. They sound great and last a long time. I still have mine from my first ipod  5 years ago and they still work great. Put your money into quality and you won't have to keep buying junk.
