  1. Well, I've seen plenty of people suggesting that her 5 children are a reason for her not to be vp.  I think that is ludicrous.  No one would say that if her husband were the candidate he should stay home with his 5 kids.

Just goes to show...not everyone has joined us in the 21st century.

There are plenty of reasons not to want Palin for VP.  Her children don't even factor into the that.

  2. What i cannot understand here is why is plain so special  she has a 17 year old pregnant daughter and standing on stage telling everyone else about god well jesus said take the beam out your own eye first she cannot use god to lure people in this election like bush did and mislead the nation about his values then his daughter ended up being g*y what i'm saying is these conservative parents are mentors to their kids but it looks like to me the kids act like liberals doing anything and everything no they did not make her have a abortion but they are forcing this guy to marry her he stated on my space he wasn't ready for either now that'ss not right she has to bare the back just like every other candidate she's not the only one and for the record their are a great deal ofConservativeses that get abortions i work the medicaFieldld the poor cannot afford them but they will never tell you that wake up people all of this is just politics leave these people kids and family members alone everyone makes mistakes doesn't matter if youre pubub or dem i'm sure she's concerned what this is doing to her daughter just likIBMma did people messing with his kids leave these kids a d**n alone their not going run the country !!!!

  3. Feminist groups do not care about women, they only care about Liberal women. They hate that a conservative woman is going somewhere, and lives up to her talk.

  4. Our society is constantly in search of a witch hunt. We haven't evolved as much as we'd like to think. This is the saddest thing I have seen in a long, long time. People feel they are so superior to others. There is no love or compassion in this world, and the liberals head the list.  Welcome back to the cave.

  5. Palin is a conservative who's staunchly pro-life. It's the double standards of liberals.

  6. I'm not sure feminism is a factor here in the ridicule greeting the nomination of Palin. I believe people are ridiculing her selection based more on her scandals and faux pas and OBVIOUS lack of qualifications for the position.

Palin has to now be tutored on American history and foreign relations and someone hopefully will tell her what a Vice-President does since she stated she had no idea what the job entailed (on TV and now enshrined on YouTube).

  7. because the "choice" they show vehemently demand is the choice to kill their babies.

  8. Because she is not a Liberal.  Any woman who is successful or any minority that is successful but not a Democrat are more dangerous to Democrats and their promotion of victim-hood than a machine-gun.

The dirty little secret is a lot of Democrats do not want women or minorities to be successful as much as they want to keep using victim-hood as an excuse for their failure.  The Democrats need as many people dependent on the Federal Government for their daily bread as possible.  It is what keeps them in power.

  9. Feminism was/is a liberal issue.

Conservative women have been doing what they want and getting what they want for thousands of years.  Liberal women didn't like that mold so they created their own and labeled it feminism.  So if you are a conservative traditional powerful women you can't be a feminist because you don't fit the liberal mold now.

    Silly isn't it?

  10. Because it wasn't dem feminism.  Didn't you get the memo?   lol

  11. Stop trippin. Sarah Palin is a traitor to the feminists movement and as such can not be an advocate for it or benefit from it.

  12. Good question.  Even though Palin is politically conservative, her personal choices in child-rearing are more in line with liberal views, i.e. go back to your high-powered job days after giving birth.  It puts conservative women who believe in the importance of motherhood in a difficult place.  For example, Dr. Laura Schlessinger said she will still vote for McCain, but does not support his VP choice.

The feminists should be applauding her, but it is the same phenomenon as the civil rights leaders never pointing to Clarence Thomas or Condolezza Rice as shining role models for African Americans.  You only get credit for walking the walk if you are a leftist.

BTW, there are a small portion of feminists who present logically coherent arguments that actually benefit women.  See Feminists for Life website below.
