Why is it that i can find my site on the main yahoo.com site but i cannot find it on the local yahoo site?

i can find my site on the main yahoo site, but when i type my domain into the local yahoo site to search, it returned with no result. Please advice.

It is because you have not entered your website into their system.  You can do that simply by filling out the form found here:  http://listings.local.yahoo.com/csubmit/...

or here:

http://listings.local.yahoo.com/

NOTE: Make sure you provide a true local service, offer up your business address (physical location) and a description of the services you provide on your website.  When I submitted mine I had to resubmit as I had left my physical address off of the contact page and wasn't very clear about all of the local services I provide.
