sometimes i dont feel tired at all....then i take my son into bed to try to get him to fall asleep, after laying down with him for a few minutes i automatically want to take a nap. this never used to happen to me, it used to be that if i wasnt tired and layed down that i would just be restless and want to get up.

he lets me sleep a lot at night...so i dont think its from sleep deprivation.

  1. you are using more energy during your waking hours when you did before baby, and when you put him down to sleep you automatically relax to help him relax in turn.

these two combined will make you sleepy :)

why not take advantage and nap at the same time as him?

  2. Because being a parent is exhausting even when you get "enough" sleep. It's harder work than anything else, and we run ourselves ragged, and don't stop so we don't notice we are tired. Then when we lay down with our babies, our bodies take advantage of the situation and we sleep. It's normal :). Just enjoy the nap. Good luck.

  3. he relaxes you,and the smell of a baby/child is really reliving and that will make u tired, also the fact the u feel warm against another body will make u naturally fatigue...

hope that explained a bit :)

  4. With a baby you're still probably not getting all the sleep your body really needs. When your son's awake you're awake, focused on him. So the only time you can relax is when he takes a nap right? It's only natural for you to sleep when he sleeps. I did the same with all three of my children!

  5. he makes you aroused
