  1. Elevators often feel faster than they are.

When you are waiting for an elevator, you don't know what it's doing. Picture an old man using a walker taking 5 minutes to get onto the elevator on the fifth floor, going to the fourth floor while you wait on the second floor for that same elevator on the third floor to get to the first floor.

  2. "Murphy´s Law",perhaps??

  3. well that's because the elevator work with simple long rope cable so when it going up it has to you 100% of it power to get people up and when its going down it has to use 110% of it power to hold on hold so the elecator won't drop and fill down. try this when you are driving. you start with a low speed and then take off fast but when you are going to a stop light or stop sign what do you do. you brake your brake and slow down. the car useage is full power to stop you so yu won't get into an accident. so you down want to brake fast because you will lost control and probably get in the accident. just try it and you'll see what i'm talking about and if i'm right i diserave a 10 point. lol.
