Why is it that little kids LOVE babies? (most of them at least)?

I've noticed that ever since I had my daughter five months ago, she gets non-stop attention from everyone, but mostly little kids! Why is that??

  1. Think its because they see that a baby is similar to them and much smaller. An instinct for future parenting maybe??
