Why is it that most aliens are telepathic, but earth humans don't seem to be able to make the leap?

Is telepathy is a universal language used for communication for interplanetary purposes or is that just a coincidence? Is space travel practical or even permitted without telepathic ability?

remember that we are a very young species. Our civilization is merely  10,000 yrs old and advance technological happened only 300 yrs ago. the universe on the other hand is 14 billion yrs old. you can see that we have a long way to go to reach telepathy if it is real. human must master the science of behind DNA and our brain itself to be able to understand how telepathy works.

Space travel is practical. Always remember that " in order for a specie to survive, it must venture into space exploration and adaptation"

I think space travel and telepathic ability are directly related Since travel is transportation while telepathy is communication.

In your experience, most aliens are telepathic?

As far as I understand there is limited, and dubious, scientific evidence out there even for the existence of telepathic ability. Having said that, I've had some experiences that could just be coincidences but feel like much more than that, but of course these are not scientifically documented.

If telepathy is real and reliable in some other species, then there is no reason why they wouldn't use it for interplanetary communication. But is the speed of thought instantaneous, like the ansible in Orson Scott Card's Ender books, or is thought also limited by the speed of light?

WOULD telepathy be a universal language? Or would you just 'hear' foreign words appearing in your brain?

Is space travel practical at all?

Why would space travel not be permitted without telepathic communication? Do you know something that I don't about a vast and powerful telepathic Galactic Confederation or something?

Maybe the technology of practical space travel DEMANDS that you be telepathic, so that could be why it wouldn't be permitted? It just wouldn't even be possible - like driving without a license?

You have VERY GOOD insights.

Telepathy would increase a persons awareness greatly. And a fully activated individual would be able to do tremendous things.

Space travel can only be permitted if a person has wide open telepathy.

The human race can not make this leap at this moment, because they do not have the knowledge to 'evolve' themselves forward biologically.

It is through evolution of the DNA which will unlock the Godcode which will give forth the power of telepathy.

Seems like somebody's getting his science information from the Weekly World News. On what do you base your claim that "most aliens are telepathic"? There is no known alien race, never mind any that are telepathic.

Telepathy is not an advanced form of speech, it is actually a "crutch" devised by powerful aliens with a distinct lack of foresight. These species concentrated too much on evolving their brains and let their mouths disappear. Until one day they had a power outage on their homeworld, were forced to get up from playing 5-dimensional sudoku on their computers, and wanted to call the pizza service - but had to notice they no longer had mouths to order a Pizza Homo with extra babies. Quelle malheur! They had to develop telepathy then, to somehow be able to talk to each other again.

Let this be a warning to you. Do not let your mouths atrophy. At least once a day, get up from your computer, step out on the balcony and practice singing opera. In addition to its primary purpose, it will also make you popular with the neighbours.

There is no good evidence for the existence of aliens, and there is no good evidence for the existence of telepathy.  In fact, telepathy is probably outright impossible since there is no mechanism which would allow it, and as commonly understood, it would violate the principle of locality.

There is absolutely no evidence for telepathy.  Where did you get that idea?  And please tell me the source for your information that "most aliens are telepathic".  Since there are NO authenticated alien visits, I am puzzled how such a study could have been accomplished.  I'm guessing the reason why humans don't make the leap to telepathy is that there is no mechanism to allow telepathy.  Certainly if it existed some earthly organism would be using it.  But none are.  Why?  It doesn't exist.

It sounds as if you're confusing fact with fiction.  There are no known alien species, telepathic or otherwise.  So the basis for your premise that "most aliens are telepathic" is questionable.

Space travel is practical without telepathy.  Space operations among the spacefaring nations of Earth account for many billions of dollars in commerce anually, and is a profitable endeavor today.  While it is regulated by laws and international treaties, telepathic ability is not a condition or provision of that regulation.
