I sware.. Most animes have these stick for arms guys picking up trucks, punching someone like 500 feet away... and the actual muscular guys are put to shame. I think DBZ is the only respectable anime... because they actually had TOO much muscle, but did all the same.

  1. because they have to be skinny i mean can you really pisture inuyasha defeating naraku at 450 lmbs???

  2. I have always wondered that too. But the only one where it really seems they are strong is DragonBall Z. In all the other ones I have seen, they are for the most part, quick and nimble. For example, you dont see Alucard from Hellsing throwing dudes 500 feet. Or Luffy from One Piece slamming people into the ground.

  3. well in fruits basket the author mentions how skinny they are but have to have muscles to do martial arts but she said she doesn't like to draw muscles. maybe that's what it is for everyone? I mean i hate those musclely (i know its not a word) guys. anyway, yeah she said she just doesn't like to draw muscles.

  4. i have no clue, maybe to make it look like the guy is really strong, and don't forget it is just anime

  5. Lol, I often wonder the same thing. But what you have to remember is that it isn't real and that japan have an amazing imagination.

Cloud from the Final Fantasy games makes me laugh. Stick man with spikey hair who can carry a sword around which weighs about a tonne or two.

  6. Because they're cartoon characters and the artists can make them look however they want and do whatever they want even if it's not logical, and we all will still love them.

  7. Cause big things come in small, good looking packages.

    :3

  8. because the japanese cant draw very well:)
