Why is it that most males have hair all over their body?

We don't all have hair everywhere. Monkeymen are in the minority.

We have a lot of body hair because we have more testosterone than you women do! Some of us have more testosterone than others do, so that's why those guys have all that hair. As for the apes and the cavemen, they're primates like us and we evolved from them, so why wouldn't we look similar?

It is the way they have evolved.  Don't forget that scent is very important in the animal world and hair can trap the scent of another person.

Way back when, hair was a defensive mechanism used by cavemen. ( just like sweaty palms to climb trees) Hair color and style is genetically passed down...probably from the cavemen : )

it's because we're related to the ape and caveman that we have hair like them.   If you want a hairless guy, want someone related to a naked mole rat.

I believe that's something that's mostly true for white men.  Most black men are not hairy all over their bodies, since their ancestor come from tropical climates with hot temperatures.  It's an anthropological affect. Since the ancestors of white men came from cold climates, biologically it was a survival feature. Hairy bodies are warmer in the colder climates.

Not most.  I think it's because we had so many clothes on for so many generations that it wasn't selected against.  Or it's possible that it helped keep us warm.

Men and women have the same amount of hair on their bodies but women's hair is much finer and shorter and so you don't tend to notice it.

Similarly, all men have hair all over their bodies but some men have much courser hair so that they look hairyer.

The reason women have finer hair is that soft, naked skin has come to be attractive to males and so evolved into the geneome.
