  1. I think it's because different countries require different qualifications.  You can get a degree in one country, but if you move to a new country that degree doesn't transfer.

  2. Because different countries have different education systems.  For example, the requirements to become a licensed architect in the UK is different from the licensing requirements in the US.  So you won't meet the qualifications if you complete your degree in the US if you live in the UK.

Plus, schools in the US require foreign students to have a different type of enrollment status.  Which requires some sort of VISA, if I'm not mistaken.  You can't get that Visa if you aren't in the US.

That last sentence of mine doesn't make sense.  I don't know how to explain it though. Basically, I'm trying to say if you have a visa to study in the US, then you have to actually study in the US.  A student visa doesn't mean squat if you aren't in the country for which it was issued.  It's just a piece of paper, otherwise.

  3. I think it is because different countries have different curriculum and educational standards. Also, there are a battery of tests which have to be passed to be accepted into a particular course. If you are in a foreign country, these tests are not administered and therefore will disqualify you.

  4. This is normally due to satisfying quotas and financial aid.  A college can not get paid if they do not have a way to obtain financial aid funds for students.  Plus many colleges have to abide by the Patriot Act and having foreign online students makes it harder to verify who they are.  Another issue is language barriers and then currency exchange.

  5. Those colleges aren't real anyway, they're just a joke when you get into the real world.
