  1. how is it possible that you can make this assumption?

  2. after many years of thinking that when I became an adult and my mom and I were close friends I realized all that time I thought she didn't know what she was talking about .... she did.. she did know me... now she is gone and miss her loving advice.

  3. I have 2 kids a girl and a boy and you are right on point. I don't think it is a misunderstanding it is just that your daughters are usually so much like their mothers that it is not noticed until they are older. Girls usually love their fathers but emulate the mothers.

  4. That's not even necessarily true. My mom understands me better than I understand myself sometimes! I think it all depends on what kind of relationship the mother and daughter have.

  5. because female offspring are the devil.
