my dvd player does not read mp3 songs written on a blank dvd but it reads mp3 songs written on a cd and also has difficulty in reading normal songs written on a cd through my pc.but it plays dvds ,cds, vcds which are branded just fine. whereas while playing on another dvd player by the same manufacturer it reads the mp3 songs on a dvd and reads everything just fine.

  1. when you are burning a dvd, and after selection of songs when you decide to burn, you will see a set of options, one of which is multisession or no multisession. You must select 'no multisession'. Then your dvd will work on hardware based dvd players. This holds true for your car mp3/dvd player also.
