Question:

Why is it that my freeview TV and freeview box receive different channels?

OK, OK I know this is probably a very blonde question, but I thought they where all the same, as we don't (subscribe like with Sky). And the both use the same aerial. just wondered, not sat here stressing!! LOL!

Oh and just for the record I do re-tune them both regularly too.

  1. Probably down to the gain of the front end amplifiers.


  2. Cheaper Freeview boxes are less able to receive channels which have a lower signal. I just got a more expensive box and can suddenly get ones I couldn't before.
