Why is it that nobody knows what 'pretty' is?

Kay, everytime I see questions like 'Am I pretty??!', the asker is always an average looking p*****n and everyone writes OMG YOU ARE GORGEOUS!!!! and when someone who actually IS pretty asks, people say 'meh...'

I really don't get it?

Why do people call ugly people pretty and pretty people ugly?

its just their opinion everyone has a different opinion also people ask those questions if they are pretty because they like to hear people tell them they are pretty also i love it when people ask that its fun to see who is on the internet i am not a stocker or any thing because 12

different taste and people judge by appearences. like pretty people to be snobbish. and plain people to be down to earth. btw its the way pictures are taken. like a self taken pic with the preson trying to be cool is just annoying. it makes them look like they have no life and all they do is go on myspace.

yea idk...someone earlier posted a question if they were pretty...and well i thought she was really ugly...and everyone was caling her gorgeous, and pretty enough for ANTM

and i answswered honestly..i didnt call her ugly, but i was honest with her

im always honest with the am i pretty questions, btu i try not to be mean though :)

Their idea of beauty is probably different from yours. There is no standard look for being pretty. Beauty is in the eye of it's beholder.
