Why is it that only 100% cotton shrinks and nothin else dose???

this sucks i got a bunch of new shirts and i dried them all and they came out really small and is there a way i can get them back to normal

sorry buddy, didn't your mom or grandma ever teach you proper laundry technique? cotton ALWAYS shrinks in warm/hot water and in the dryer SO you should always remember to buy a size bigger with clothes made of mostly cotton.

it shrinks because of the fibers. they don't hold their own shape when being heated and saturated like that.

if you don't want to worry about shrinkage you will need to go with a synthetic blend.
