Why is it that people go into a busy restaurant and ask for seating that is quiet and private?

  1. you can definitely tell which customers have never worked in the food service industry.  They beleive they are the only people in the place, run you like crazy and then leave a terrible tip.  They think that we should have the quiet, cozy little tables like you see in the movies where, when the actors go sit down, you don't hear anything around them.


  2. Who knows maybe they just want some peace and quiet after a hectic day, of course you can't hardly get quiet in a busy place huh!

  3. becasue they are dumb...ppl who live there are used to it...but thoes who don't are just confsed

  4. Because they think they are original and the ten people before them never thought to ask for that and thus ended up sitting in the nosiest part of the restaurant.

  5. It's weird how some people just like to be "In", only to be    

    "In The Way".

    The host should had them a menu and let them know that the best seating in the house at that time of day is in the bathroom stall.

  7. Good question!  Business people always do that!  Used to drive me insane when I was a server!
