I am a female scorpio and I can understand why people may hate us, (I think they may hate male scorpios more though.) LOL. But like every other scorpio out there do u really think that we care if people like us or hate us? well for ur info we don't. But we love that u talk about us so much! So keep it up! ;)

at first,yes there's a perception 2 hate them since their moodiness like to s***w up situation sometimes...

but now after learn quiet a lot abt how scorpio people,thts not as bad as people think...even they r sounds mean/love to speak to the point with harsh words,but actually they're not mean it....they're honest people...i used to get shocked whn closed 2 my scorpio guy now,i got many times misscommunication with him...since im libra who loved 2 be opened,n definitely he's opposite of mine ;)

but now,i can enjoy every single quarel we have...even yes they're not expressing their feeling a lot,even they're quiet a lot also,but the important point is THEY'RE LISTENING...its not just only listening,but they analyze thngs in their silent....

its not ez 4 them 2 forget the past love story....

ths thngs makes me more curious abt scorpio guy,coz i want to be remember 4ever by a guy who's not ez 2 b fall in luv actually ;)

People usually hate Scorp's because they're players! Honestly, they're the biggest players I know.  Although, people are very jealous as well.  Scorpio's have a mysterious look about them and tend to be very attractive, and also extremely sexually active.  They are very strong and have lots of will power.  There is a lot to hate about them,  but it's mostly out of jealousy that people hate Scorpio's.

Do you think that being called "strong-willed" is a negative comment? Not to me.

Anyway....The people that hate Scorpios are people that know nothing of real astrology and are Sun sign biased...They create these stereotypes about things that they don't understand, and base them off of experiences they have had with maybe one or two people. The Scorpios I have met have been loyal, loving, caring people. The fact is, everybody has positive and negative qualities, and how they project them is in their own hands. You must look at the whole natal chart to know someone's character, and basing a stereotype off of one sign is just pure ignorance. Sure, there are Scorpios out there with negative characters, but the same goes for any sign.

This is just me personally, but as a Libra, I'd much rather be called "dark", "evil", "obsessive", etc....over "ditzy", "gullible" "weak"....ugh. Stereotypes suck.

But for the most part I agree with you. My boyfriend isn't into astrology too much though, actually not at all, and I consider myself very luck because of this because being a Scorpio, I know he would expect somethings from me that just aren't true. And that includes being a, "s*x addict" Which I am not...

Yeah I know! I'm a scorpio and when I tell people they are like omg, that's though.... and on yahoo someone once said scorpios are evil things!! it really hurts =(

Awww don't feel bad!  it happens to every single sign not just yours!  Maybe today of this week or maybe this month it is Scorpio, next time its another sign.  It goes in phases!

I don't think anyone hates Scorpio!  Maybe they've had some bad experiences and so they write them.  Same happens again with each and every sign.

I know you're a Water sign, and can't help being sensitive, but stop being so sensitive!  No one should ever doubt their own sign because you can't change it.  I've heard so much c**p about my sign.  We're boring, we're not funny, we're mean, we're workaholics...the list goes on.  I stil love being a Goat.

As for Scorpios, they have their bad, but they have a lot of good as well.  It's important to focus on both sides.  Scorpios are loyal, and if anyone messes with their loved ones...watch out!

I defenitely dont hate Scorpios because I have tons of people I cant call real friends, and 4 of my closest and truest friends are Scorpios.

Scorpios make the best of friends, and the worse of enemies. They dont have time for people in between love and hate. So you either hate them or you love them, and they feel the saem about you.

I love scorpio! I've been dating one for 2 years.

There are so many unfair attitudes and writings out there about you guys.

Lots of scary stuff going around out there that I just simply haven't found to be true.  I wish they said all the nice stuff, like how sweet scorpios are, how loving and smart and all that.

I know many scorpios and there are those whom I really don't like, but not because they are scorpios but because they are irritating as people. However, there is the other part - scorpios who are really amiable people. So, let's not beat about the bush - it doesn't matter which is your sun sign, but what is your overall personality :)

I see that quite a lot on here too and I've been coming to yahoo answers since 2006. There is always a question saying something negative about Scorpio's. It's very rare someone is asking a good question about them. I have no problems with Scorpio's and never will because I don't bash signs. I look at people as individuals and don't base them on their sun sign alone. I am a big believer in Astrology and always will be but some people just take it to another extent. All the Scorpio's I know are really good people. Like I said it depends on the individual. That goes for every sign in the zodiac.
