Why is it that people seem to think that Gov. Palin can't me a good mom and a good VP??

Question

Women from all walks of life have worked hard at careers and taken care of their family at the same time. A well organized, loving parent can accomplish all his/her goals and still be a loving, wonderful, exemplary role model for a child. Who of us knows how she raises her children? Do any of you who are taking pot shots and making ridiculous assumptions about her live with her and see how she interacts with her family on a day to day basis? Is there anyone out there with an intelligent response I would love to hear it.

I don't really care whether she is a good mom or VP or both or neither, I care that she's a Christian fundamentalist and Republicans run things based on religion when we should have a division of church and state in this country.

that thought has never crossed my mind.  i just think her policies/beliefs are completely absurd.  from wanting to teach creationism is schools to the idea that man is not at all responsible for global warming, i think she's a nut job and should stay in AK.

Palin is the one being ridiculous. She's running on a ticket of "family values" after choosing to put her career before her special needs 4 month old child.  If you want a pregnant teen to be ridiculed, step into the national spotlight spouting an anti-abortion, pro-abstinence only education stance.

We believe she can. We just want to know how she will accomplish it. It's a fair question to someone who comes from the party of "family values". Five young children is a lot of work. If her husband is staying home with them, just tell everyone. We want to learn from her. How does a mother handle all of that when she will be away most of the time?

Do you know what a VP does? Do you have any idea how much travel is involved? Is her family going to move from Alaska to DC? How can you possibly take care of a special needs child and 4 other kids and fly around the world?

I am sure there are many women that are able to juggle careers and their family, but we are not just talking about a regular job here. This is a full time 24/7 job!! Who is going to raise that new born?

This is not a joke.. This woman could be president! She seems like a nice person, but lets be serious about the what the job is here folks. One step from being President.

I don't care what they think of her private life. I'm more interested in her political platform. I don't agree with it but it but it does make an interesting read. And I admire any woman that can balance a family and a career.
