Why is it that people take these questions too seriously?

Some people like to ask questions. Whether it has any validity to it or not who cares. just answer the dang question or move on. So someone tell me why do they take it so seriously?

Because they have no life, or nothing better to do... guess this is one of those unanswerable questions because everyone would have a different reason.
