Why is it that people think bisexual people are confused?

Ive heard many people say that bisexuals are confused and need to pick a side. Some say they are greedy and over sexed. I believe that people fall for who ever they fall for, if a person is hetero, g*y, les, trans, or etc. they are not confused they are themselves and are living their lives. So why is it that so many people have problems with bisexuals?

I don't think anyone can understand it unless they've experienced it.

Also a lot of people are very closed minded.

Try not to worry about it. What you think, feel, believe is the important thing. Personally i feel sorry for the people who might never find their soulmate, all because they're too caught up with fitting under a certain label.

I used bisexuality as a transition to actually realizing that I am a L*****n, and I think that's true for a lot of people. I know there are many genuine bisexuals out there, but then again, I've never met a g*y person who wasn't bisexual at one time. I don't have a problem with bis really, I just think they have a wider variety of people to cheat on me with so I don't really date them much. lol.

well  I am a g*y and in the years.. I have heard about bi.. I have never met a bi guy.. I would like to meet one for real.. well many people say g**s feel like a girl or boys each other and lesbians the same.. but bisexuals feel they can like to men and women.. and they want to play both roles.. men and women.. they don't know what are they doing..they need to be part of a side.. you can't be in the middle.. many people would say bi people are just  looking for a place in somewhere.. well that's people say.. I think bisexual can be in the middle.. there should be a point of in the middle somewhere.. not to be part one or another side.. they can be parcial or imparcial according their feelings

because ppl are a******s. ppl want an explanation for everything and ppl dnt understand the whole bi sexual concept...alot of ppl [well at least ppl i know] think that you can only like one thing or the other...i like girls i am attracted to girls emotionally and physically...guys...not so much but there is one boy that i have idk "loved" since the 5th grade ... maybe we should just say f*** the label....as long as ppl are happy who gives???

I don't think most bisexual people are confused.

I think there are some people who think they are bi and experiment but are not what I would call bisexual because they would never have a serious relationship with someone of the same s*x. Just like people who experiment with drugs and find it's not for them- just because they tried it doesn't automatically make them a druggie. People experiment with a lot of things and then find it's not for them.

Truly bisexual people (in my opinion) find people of both genders attractive and would engage in serious relationships no matter what gender the person is.

I think people use the term bisexual too much and this causes confusion. People who don't know you well maybe think you are experimenting because they don't know you.

In the g*y community, I think bi's are not taken seriously sometimes because of the people who experiment and label themselves bisexual and then discover they are not and g**s/lesbians have been hurt by this and sometimes feel used.

Hang in there though. Most people in the g*y community will accept you after you have been around awhile. As far as the straight community, well I think they will always deem g**s, lesbians and bi's as confused people.

Because they have picked a side and want you to as well. its the same reason why people say transsexuals should stay the s*x theyre born as. And its also the same reason why people say that you should wear tight pants, or boat shoes, or have your hair long, or any other trend people want to conform to at the moment.

because not all people understand bisexuals. they think that all people are either classified as man or woman; so one has to choose which gender he/she prefers.

on the other hand, bisexuals (such as I) believe that there is more to a person than his/her s*x. it does not define a person; nor should it be a basis of one's preference.

i just love a person; it just so happens she's a girl.

Pat on the shoulder* please don't feel frustrated about it. It is pointless to change people opinion about something that they have been brain-washed in their brain for century.

Either they are bi, g*y, straight, tran, etc, whatever, they have the right to love anyone and have the right to be loved by anyone. It is none of other people's business to stereotype or even label other people's feeling toward anybody.

It is unfortunate that our society has to conform everyone in category  in order to have some kind of identity toward ourself to other people.
