Why is it that periodically, and when I least expect it my computer tells me"interent xplorer has encountered?

a problem and needs to close? what the h**l does that mean? I could be on my school website doing work, or just about searching or reading anything, and all of the sudden this big gray box comes up and says "internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close." then it automatically closes and I'm sitting there now looking at my desktop picture. what in the world could it be and why does it do that? its been doing that for about 2 weeks now.

if u downloading anything that uses internet explorer and that is malfunctioning, that could be one thing, or some prgram that is using it askes it to do sumthing it cant do or isnt "aloud" to do... some times other programs interfere with I.E. and will mess it up....

i suggest not using I.E. anymore.... use Mozilla Firefox, it has better features and is more useful.... i;ve been using it for over a year and i've come across one page that wont accept it... it's also free.

Btw, Internet Explorer SUCKS!!   If you want a fast reliable browser use "Opera".
