Question:

Why is it that sat nav takes you to your destination one way

and brings you back another? Anyone else find this? Why not take the same route both ways?

  1. There could be many reasons.....one way streets for example.....or it's shorter or quicker to return a different way than you went. You can ask for different options....avoiding motorways for example.....or speed traps.


  2. They can look for differences in distance as short as 50 yards, so when the return route is calculated there may be something like going round ¾ of a roundabout instead of only ¼ that starts it off on a different route

  3. why do you use a sat nav when there are plenty of road signs in the uk or cant you read them because you drive so fast

  4. You have something wrong going on, try and reset it and make sure that you have it set up correctly or call the manufacture because I have been using one for over a year and half and I go one way and come back the same way every time………
