  1. Only some sharks prefer warm waters.  Others have enzymes that are adapted to cold water where they function more efficiently.  Warm water animals generally have higher metabolisms and burn more energy.  It allows them to move faster.

  2. they are cold blooded animals and dont have as much blubber on them like a whale

  3. they are mammals, therefore warm blooded and prefer warm atmospheres.

  4. They are cold blooded and well they like the warm water because other creatures do. less food in cold water. a lot more in warm water so they stick to warm water. They also cant heat themselves so they need the environment thats warmer.

  5. not all sharks prefer warm waters...there are sharks that live in the arctic beneath the ice.

  6. because they are cold blooded they cant regulate their temperature so are reliant on the environment

  7. asdasdas

  8. they are cold blooded so their body temperature is going to be the same as the surrounding water. also there is more food in warmer waters.

however SOME sharks do like the colder water. great whites pretty much flourish up in northern cal. and even though its california, trust me the water gets cold up there. (the only REALLY warm water here is down in san diego... and guess what, there are tons of sharks down there too!)
