Why is it that teenage girls have to add so many letters to their words?

well I'm in highschool and yeah I have to admit that I am guilty of doing it occasionally sometimes it's just the "style" I know it sounds pretty superficial and lame but I guess it's just how everything is now days. it's actually pretty sad once I think about it actually but hey it's just a stupid teenage faze. haha sometimes I read the words wrong too. so it's just pretty stupid but mainly I think I do it because sound more nice or playful like "do you wanna chill tonighttt??" is what I would usually do.

I have to admit, it is pretty stupid but I do it sometimes. Not as extreme as your example, but I say "heyy" when texting a friend or "yeahh" or something like that. Just adding one or two extra consonants. There's no purpose to it really. Sometimes it makes what I'm saying sound more playful or joking, but it doesn't really make a difference. Everyone does silly things sometimes, especially when you're a teen.

We all go thru stages in our lives.  Then we look back and feel silly.  What if the girls made fun of guys buying Pokemon cards.  Remember when guys bought "pogs".  /

Honest to God, I don't know. It makes no sense at all. I can't help but read them weird in my head when my friends are iming me or something.
