Why is it that the BAe Hawk cost 18mil pounds but the F-16 costs 10mil pounds? Surely the F-16 is worth more?

A full-up Block 70 F16C costs roughly $40M roughly 20Mil pounds.

Pricing of big-ticket items like aircraft, tanks, art'y are frequently negotiated with "off-sets" which may reduce per unit pricing.

Also, there's larger production lines set up for Vipers vice Hawks, which also reduces per unit pricing.
