  1. because it like a male peacock displaying his feathers 2 show he is bigger, better and more competent than the rival

    its just 2 show how many contacts they have and how big and flashy seats/private boxes they get, its gud 4 closing deals and signing contracts

Tell me about it, its part of the bullshit that is corporate sponsorship.  Its always happened they are just more open about it now a days.  They are show ponies, any opportunity to wine and dine in front of the cameras and none of them play the sport or appreciate it.  Just brown nosers and knee benders.

  3. Unfortunately it is all about money. The rugby clubs can make much more money selling these tickets than than they get from the actual fans of the club.

  5. because they book and guarantee to take so many and maybe even sponsor the game don't knock them even if its frustrating it will be an expensive meal contributing in some part to rugby funds
