Why is it that the exnchange rate between the U.S. dollar and the Lebanese pound is relatively stagnant?

  1. The dollar is dropping in value and so is the Lebanese pound, due to the unrest in the area.  I don't think the Lebanese currency is a strong one due to the local conflicts and civil unrest.
